I am currently the organist at Market Street United Methodist Church in Winchester, VA.

Member of the American Guild of Organists
Service Playing Certificate

In the fall of 2018, I was approached by Scott Macadow of Advent Lutheran Church in Houston, TX. He was looking for a pianist and organist to take over for the current player, who was retiring.

I had been substituting in Lutheran churches for several years, so the idea of taking on a full-time position was exciting. I served in that capacity for several months, before I left to move to Virginia. During that time, I played service music for normal and special services, and accompanied the choir for anthems each week.

During that time, I became a member of the American Guild of Organists and earned their Service Playing Certificate (SPC). I am now working to earn the Colleague certificate.

At Shenandoah University, I am studying with Dr. Thomas Mitts. During my time at Advent Lutheran, I studied organ with Dr. Dave Englert, who helped me earn the SPC. At Baylor University, I studied under Dr. Joyce Jones before her retirement, and afterward with Dr. Isabelle Demers.
